About the role
Connex Education are currently working in partnership with a well-established academy who are seeking qualified teachers to support across there school on an ad-hoc basis. Within this role you will have full flexibility on which days you would like to work with the consistency of the same school if desired.
Assignment details
This role is to start as soon as possible, and you will be offered consistent work throughout the year. You can be flexible on the days you choose to work; however, we require commitment and reliability to the school. In return we can offer you a guaranteed pay option to work with us so you have the opportunity to be paid if no suitable work is available (t&cs apply).
You will still have the ability to pick your preferred key stages/year groups meaning you can teach where you feel most confident.

Person Specification
- Hold qualified teaching status (or have a strong background working with young people)
- Have suitable, UK teaching experience
- Able to diversify teaching techniques to suit all students
- Able to work with students of varied abilities
- Reliable and consistent
- Capable of your ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
- Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
