Connex Education is currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive teaching assistants to support children with special educational needs.
We are seeking teaching assistants who can foster a love for learning by providing a calm, nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
Connex Education have a long-standing relationship with primary schools around Formby, and we are seeking teaching assistants to cover bookings across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
The following bookings will be available for you:
- Day-to-day bookings to support small groups with additional needs.
- Long-term bookings in one school to support children on a 1:1 basis.
- Part-time bookings to support children on different timetables.
- Temp-to-perm bookings whereby we facilitate the opportunity of being offered a contract in the school.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable or recent and relevant experience working in a primary school.
- CV to cover work experience and education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
