Role: Primary Teaching Assistants
Location: Southport
Salary: £85-£90 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Days: Mon-Fri
Connex Education is currently seeking dedicated and adaptable teaching assistants who can provide cover for various bookings in primary schools around the Southport area.
About the schools:
Connex Education currently works in partnership with multiple primary schools the Southport area, and we will have a range of bookings across EYFS to KS2 that will suit your availability. We supply staff to primary schools in Ainsdale, Birkdale and Churchtown.
Assigments available:
- Day-to-day bookings for general classroom support.
- Long-term bookings in one school to support children on a 1:1 basis.
- Part-time bookings to support children on different timetables.
- Half-day and full-day EYFS bookings.
- Temp-to-perm bookings whereby we facilitate the opportunity of being offered a contract in the school.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable or recent and relevant experience working in a primary school.
- CV to cover work experience and education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
