Connex Education – Manchester have a role that is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to take in Bolton.
Role: Teaching Assistant with SEND 1:1 Responsibility
Location: Bolton
Pay: £425 to £500 per week (dependent on experience)
Duration: To start ASAP and could run to the end of the academic year (July 2025)

About the Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with 1:1 experience too. The role is a 1:1 Teaching Assistant that is full time and 5 days a week.
You will be expected to support an SEND child on an individual level and adapt to the child’s needs in each lesson. You will utilise resources to maintain a high engagement level with the child and challenge to progress too.

Person Specification
- Hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification or a desire to obtain one.
- A high level of experience with SEND in a mainstream classroom.
- Experience in schools in the UK
- Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
