Requirements:
• Studying or about to begin studying an SEN Degree
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young adults with Special Needs
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience and a caring personality.
• Prior Support Worker or SEN Teaching Assitant (not essential)

Key Responsibilities:
• Create a calm , nurturing learning environment for pupils aged 3-19 years
• Supporting pupils with Autism,ADHD,SEMH and Learning Disabilities
• Providing personal care
• Managing behaviour and implementing coping strategies
• Working well with other TA’s to support the class teacher
• Building relationships with pupils, helping to engage them in activties
