Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £85 to £95 Per Day (Depending on Experience)

Connex Education is working with a primary school based in Mickleover who are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time and part-time basis. This role is only open to applicants able to work full-time, we are unable to consider part-time applicants for this position due to the requirements.

Introducing a remarkable school opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant on behalf of Connex Education! We are excited to present a unique assignment at a school that caters to students aged 4 – 11 years old. The assignment calls for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting young people who are autistic or have conditions such as ADHD, attachment disorders, and anxiety.
Assignment Details
This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM. This is likely to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person. This role will include elements of personal care so you must be comfortable providing this. Experience with manual handling is preferred but not essential.

Person Specification
This role is only open to applicants able to work full-time. We are unable to consider part-time applicants for this position.
Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
Be willing to provide personal care.
Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
