Salary: £175 – £230 per day
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:10
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently seeking a dedicated Secondary SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join a school in the BD22 area. This role offers a challenging but rewarding environment where you will play a vital part in ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SEN provision within the school.
- Oversee and coordinate individualized support for students with special educational needs.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure appropriate interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to promote inclusive practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in SENCO roles.
- In-depth knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to challenges.
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
