Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Leeds, LS10, West Yorkshire
Contract Type: Part-time (Tuesday & Wednesday)
Hours: 10am-12pm
Salary: £25-£35 per hour
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join us at Connex Education to support a pupil in Leeds, in a residential setting. This role involves working closely with our Tutor to enhance the learning experience and provide individualised support to the pupil. SEMH experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our tutor in delivering lessons and managing activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to the pupil as needed.
- Help in preparing lesson materials and resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred.
- SEMH/SEN experience desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and helping students succeed.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate) are a plus.
