About the Role:
Connex Education are currently working very closely with a wonderful school who are looking to employ an ambitious and dedicated Teaching Assistant at their Nottingham school. You will be required to work in collaboration with the class teacher, support them and the students you are assigned to.
Assignment Details:
For the Teaching Assistant role we have staggered start dates, you can start in November, or later on in the school year. Once employed there will be opportunities for the rest of the academic year; meaning you will have consistent work on offer during term time.

Person Specification:
- Have experience working with young people in either at SEN school setting or a similar environment, i.e.- Supporting and assisting vulnerable individuals.
- Be confident in your ability to deal with the vulnerable children in a delicate manner.
- Moving and handling experience is desirable.
- Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.
- Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.
- Willing to undergo continual professional training.
- Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment.
- Able to work under pressure effectively and reflect in action.
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and a cracking sense of humour.
