The Role:
Connex Education is excited to be working with Shaw Education Trust as their recruitment partner. We’re currently recruiting for 4 weeks cover in a Year 3/4 class, from 11th November 2024 to 6th December 2024.
What you’ll do:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for effectively delivering instruction to students in year 3 and 4. Your duties will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Planning and directing school productions and performances
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Employing a range of teaching methods to facilitate pupil learning
- Maintaining excellent classroom and rehearsal space management
- Building positive rapport with students and encouraging their creativity

To be successful in this role, you should:
Must be 21 and over
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
Experience teaching in a UK school setting
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across ability ranges
