Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Bradford, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day
Contract: Residential Setting
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Bradford-based residential setting. This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to support SEN on a one to one basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for one specific student
- Provide one-on-one support, adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs the student.
- Work closely with the tutor team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster emotional well-being and encourage the personal and social development of students.
- Assist with personal care tasks if required, supporting the holistic needs of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward helping students achieve their potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
- A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 3 hours per day.
