Science Teacher

Connex Education are working with our client school who are looking for a full-time Science teacher to start an exciting new role in September 2023. You will need to be a science specialist and be confident in all 3 areas of chemistry, biology and physics. 

The successful applicant will need to maintain and build positive relationships whilst having an organised approach to their role. We would like to hear from Qualified Teachers who are passionate about supporting young people to help them make progress with their academics.

Applicants must have be confident in delivering positive learning strategies and also have strong behaviour management. 

As a successful teacher you will possess:

  • QTS or equivalent, and have recent experience in teaching and/or tutoring
  • Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum
  • Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
  • The ability to work to the school’s scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
  • Good time management to fully utilise lessons
  • Strong behaviour management
